DGS JA COMPANY 22-23
KAZAHANA
- REDRAW THE THAW -

Behind
KAZAHANA

(Japanese) A flurry of snow under a clear sky

Kazahana is made up of the kanji for wind and flower, meaning flowers that drift in the wind and taken as the old word for snowflakes.

It represents our company’s focus on the arctic regions of the world and conveys the beauty of snow and ice.

Kazahana symbolizes our hope for a clear and clean future. ‘Hana’ can also be tied back to our goal of increasing awareness on environmental protection.

Our Mission

#1 Awareness

  • raise awareness to the effect of melting glaciers and affected wildlife in Hong Kong

  • e.g. rising sea levels brought by the melting glaciers increases the frequency and intensity of storm surges, especially impacting those who live along the coastlines

  • e.g. the endangered Beale's eyed turtle has a shell that is highly sought after, because it is an ingredient in traditional Chinese medicine.
